Privacy Policy

TKH TECH Inc. ("we," "us") operates the Kaba platform ("Kaba," "the service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. By using Kaba, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data: Name, email address, phone number, country, and business name when you create an account.
- Business data: Invoices, ledger entries, receipts, customer records, and financial reports you create in Kaba.
- Payment data: Transaction references, payment amounts, and MoMo account identifiers. We do not store full card numbers or MoMo PINs.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, device type, browser, and IP address, collected via server logs and analytics.
- Communications: Emails and support messages you send to us.
2. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the Kaba platform and its features.
- To process payments and reconcile transactions.
- To generate financial reports and tax documents.
- To send transactional notifications (payment received, invoice viewed, etc.).
- To improve the product through aggregate usage analytics.
- To respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
- To comply with legal obligations in Benin and applicable OHADA jurisdictions.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only in these cases:
- Service providers: AWS (hosting), WhatsApp Business API (delivery), KkiaPay (payment processing). Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or regulatory authority in Benin or the OHADA zone.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with prior notice.
- With your consent: For example, when you share a Trust Score report with a lender.
4. Data retention
We retain your account and financial data for as long as your account is active and for 7 years after account closure, to meet OHADA accounting record requirements. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 5.
Usage logs are retained for 90 days. Anonymized aggregate analytics may be retained indefinitely.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Portability: Export your financial data in CSV or PDF format at any time from your account settings.
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

6. Security
We use TLS 1.3 for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. For details, see our Security page.
